General Studio Support

Experience the transformative power of storytelling, photography, and writing, and support the Harvest Room in Orchard House at the John C. Campbell Folk School. Nestled in Orchard House, surrounded by the beauty of an orchard and a tranquil pasture, this revitalized studio becomes the backdrop for inspiring narratives to unfold.

Imagine a space where students gather, their creative energies flowing, as they share captivating stories and craft vivid imagery. Equipped with high-speed internet, modern Mac and PC computers, and a spacious central table for collaborative discussions, the Harvest Room becomes a sanctuary for storytellers, writers, and photographers to explore their unique voices and bring their narratives to life.

In addition to nurturing artistic expression, Orchard House provides comfortable student housing and fosters a supportive community where storytelling thrives. By supporting the Harvest Room in Orchard House, you empower students to become the authors and documenters of their own tales, offering them the tools and space they need to develop their skills and unleash their imagination.

Harvest Room In Orchard House

Originally constructed in the 1950s as a residence, Orchard House overlooks an orchard in the front yard and a rolling pasture leading to the creek in the back. Harvest Room, the Photography & Writing Studio, offers students a quiet classroom space with high-speed internet and Mac and PC computers. The studio’s large central table is ideal for coming together to review images or discuss your latest draft. In addition to the Harvest Room, Orchard House includes student housing.
