With this catalog release, we will announce significant enhancements to the 2027 class schedule to better serve our maker community.  
 
 

We will offer primarily three session types: Weeklong, Weekend, and Long Sessions, in addition to some expanded offerings for select studios.   

These changes will offer more intentional time in the studio, enhanced opportunities for community building, and closing ceremonies for all session types.  

As you begin to imagine your own Folk School experience, here’s what you can expect:  

• Simplified session types that are more consistent and easier to navigate (Weeklong, Weekend, Long Session) 
• Carefully curated program content intended to pair thoughtfully with our updated session types and provide meaningful learning for all 
• A well-paced and balanced experience where you can do a deep-dive into the studio practice while still participatingin all the extras – dancing, singing, movement and/or reflection in nature 
• A warm and welcoming embrace from Folk School staff who will enjoy a more sustainable work-life balance with our new schedule, ensuring top-notch and personalized customer service
