Kristen Faircloth- Bubo Handmade has always had a passion for handbags, purses, and shoes and still loves scouring antique shops and junk stores for vintage pieces to study their construction. While pursuing an undergraduate degree in Literature, she often put off schoolwork to sit at her sewing machine, creating bags and wallets for friends, family, and herself. She later earned a Master’s degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has since designed products for numerous companies while living throughout the country. Her journey has been long and winding, but she wouldn’t trade a moment of it. She has learned from many talented designers and makers along the way and continues to push herself in her own designs and craft.
