Chuck Patrick
Basketry, Blacksmithing, Leather, Music, Woodworking
Chuck Patrick started loving tools and using them when he was 6 years old. He made his first knife, out of necessity, while living in the Alaskan Bush. His study of blacksmithing began at the Folk School in 1981 with such greats as Francis Whitaker and Oscar Cantrell. Chuck has taught blacksmithing here since 1993, along with playing and teaching traditional Appalachian music.
