Some of My Favorite Wools Are Scottish
Dyeing, Spinning
September 7-13, 2008
Scottish Heritage Week
Instructor: Martha Owen
Tuition: $478.00
Sheep (and wool) are integral to traditional Scottish life - in diet and wardrobe, and grazing on each hill. Take a woolly tour with an instructor who has traveled to the highlands and islands to look at sheep! Make your own yarn and add visual interest, softness, color, and texture to your own fiber creations. Discover the age-old skill of combing, carding, natural dyeing, and spinning in this "yarn-intensive" week for beginning to intermediate students.
