The Folk School is located in Brasstown, NC in the foothills of the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains. We're in the westernmost corner of the state, seven miles east of Murphy, NC, off U.S. Highway 64, just north of Georgia's state line. The school straddles Brasstown Road and is in both Clay and Cherokee counties.
We're about a two hours' drive from Atlanta, Asheville, Chattanooga and Knoxville and are only a day's drive for about half of the United States.
