A Typical Week in 2021 |

We invite you to take part in the adventure and excitement of a week at the Folk School as we resume classes in 2021. We trust we can all work together to ensure each week is safe, supportive, and fun. Come find inspiration in the creative community and our beautiful, 270-acre campus.
During your stay, start every morning surrounded by the peaceful sounds of our secluded mountains. Take a walk on our campus paths, on trails through the woods or by our stream. Treat yourself to Morningsong at 7:45 a.m in one of many outdoor locations such as our beautiful gardens,
Open House (an historic covered pavilion) or Festival Barn. This Danish custom of singing, folklore, and camaraderie will bring you different folks each day sharing songs, stories, and history.
In the studio you will learn by doing, at your own pace. Small class size allows for personalized, one-on-one instruction with plenty of time for individual practice. No matter your experience or skill level, you will be amazed by the beauty you create and the friendships you forge.
Evening offers you the opportunity to join a campus tour, enjoy a late afternoon stroll in the garden, or spend some quiet time on your own before supper. While we continue to monitor dance and concert safety, we will find ways to fill the evenings with dance and music performances, readings by students and visiting storytellers, or other special programming. Safety permitting, these may be held in-person with limited numbers or virtually.
