Joe Ruminski worked with wood as a hobby for over 34 years. After retiring from the educational world, he has been able to turn professionally for the past seven years. He now combines these worlds by teaching woodturning. Joe's classroom goal is to teach methods and techniques so that the hands can do what the mind envisions. He is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, has served on the board of directors for Carolina Mountain Woodturners, is a member of AAW, and has demonstrated woodturning in several eastern states.
