Mark J. Gardner
Blacksmithing, Metalwork
Mark Gardner is a self-taught blacksmith who began smithing at age 11. He and his wife, Mindy, own and operate Flood Plain Forge in Farmer City, IL. Mark has demonstrated for various blacksmithing groups and regional conferences, and in 2001 and 2002, he and Mindy received the "Best of Metals" award at the Cedarhurst Craft Fair. Mark is a member of the Illinois Artisans Program and has work in their galleries and various other galleries.
