Realistic Figure Carving
November 16-18, 2012 (Weekend)
Instructor: Gary Anderson
Tuition: $320.00
Realistic figure carving offers limitless opportunities to capture interesting subjects from all walks of life, past or present. Working mainly with mallet and gouges, transform a bandsaw blank into a 10- to 12-inch figure of a Folk School whittler (“art imitates life”). Detail, expression, and movement will be emphasized. If you have intermediate-level carving skills, join us for a challenging and rewarding experience.
