What's New with Nuno: New Directions in Felting
Dyeing, Felt Making
April 29-May 5, 2012
Instructor: Geri Forkner
Tuition: $568.00
Think texture, shape, and color. Now imagine the scarves, pillows, pocketbooks, and garments of your wildest dreams. Practice a wet-felting method that allows you to laminate wool fiber from different fleeces, pre-felts, rolags, and pencil roving to a variety of silk and cotton cloths. Try an embellisher machine for heavyweight base fabrics, and do some easy dyeing. Depart with finished pieces and samples for future projects. All levels welcome, though prior felting experience is helpful, and some physical stamina is needed.
