Beekeeping
Nature Studies
May 1-3, 2009 (Weekend)
Instructor: Gerald Murphy
Tuition: $290.00
This basic course offers information on how to construct, set up, and work with a functioning beehive. Everyone will get hands-on experience with tools and equipment needed for beekeeping. At the end of the course, you will be able to set up and maintain your own hive capable of producing 100+ pounds of honey each year. If everyone knew how easy it is to keep bees, they would all have a hive in their back yard!
