Shine! Power Partners Solar, June 2011

The Field House- our Energy Star Green Building that serves as student housing.
The Folk School has installed solar hot water units on several key buildings and was recently featured on the website of Shine! Power Partners Solar. This is a part of our Environmental Sustainability Initiative of the Capital Campaign.

Timber Framers Guild Newsletter, 2011
Student, David Evans, wrote a nice article about his experience in the Folk School's May 2011 timber framing class. The class erected a timber frame pergola outside the Willard Baxter Woodturning Studio.
