Blacksmith & Fine Craft Auction 2020

Join us for an entertaining afternoon fundraiser on Saturday, November 7th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In silent and live auctions, you can bid on craft, art and unique items donated by artists and other supporters of the Folk School. Admission is free.

Bidding on well-crafted ironwork, textiles, jewelry, pottery, paintings, woodturnings, and other handmade items is a fun way to help us provide our year-round creative-learning classes and community outreach programs.

On Friday, November 6th join us in our Clay Spencer Blacksmith Shop beginning at 7:00 p.m. to watch talented blacksmiths forge functional and decorative iron craft that will be available the next day at auction. It's a special chance to get a fascinating look at the craftsmanship and creativity that goes into making these pieces. Admission to the Hammer-In is free.

Photos of some of the auction items and other event information can be seen on our Blacksmith and Fine Craft Auction website.
